Dr Burzynska was involved in the study of famous masters athlete Olga Kotelko.
Olga Kotelko was a world record holder for multiple master track and field events all the way up to her death at age 95 years old.
Aga explains how researchers in her field of neuroscience are finding how important regular movement or exercise is on the health of our brains as we get older.
We talk about how even people who are elderly are able to start a sport late in life and become competitive in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s!
We also go into the importance of taking this knowledge and why children should be allowed to play and do sports to not only be physically stronger, but provide brain improvements.
What I loved about this interview was it just highlighted the fact that we are born to move and movement is nutritious to our bodies and minds.
Plus that you are never too old to get up and exercise. You might just surprise yourself and break a few world records along the way.
